Our central premise in our sponsorship policy is not to sponsor for sponsorship's sake. Sponsorship is about making choices, conscious choices. Beemster receives daily requests to sponsor an event, association, activity or charity. And no matter how good the goals of the organizers, we cannot honor most requests. Therefore, we choose to support a number of people-oriented social welfare activities for a longer period of time. By doing so, we avoid scattering the available funds over many and various projects.
