Grass cheese is the beaujolais first among cheeses. It is cheese made from the milk of first grazing cows. The cheese has a short natural maturation period. The cows are back out to pasture, the grass is fresher than fresh. In short, a cheese that celebrates spring. Therefore, there is no cheese that tastes fresher and creamier than Beemster Graskaas. Our Beemster Graskaas 48+ is made with vegetarian rennet and is therefore a vegetarian cheese.

This mini quiches with cauliflower bottom and white asparagus make extra tasty with our Beemster Grass cheese.
