Cubano toast with ham on the bone and Beemster Young

Ingredients

  • 4 slices Beemster Jong 48+
  • 2 large paninis (sandwiches)
  • 2 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 50 g wafer-thin slices of ham on the bone
  • 50 g salami
  • 8 sweet and sour pickle slices

Prepare

  1. Preheat the oven to 210 °C. Halve the cheese slices lengthwise. Cut the paninis in half lengthwise and spread both cut sides and the top with the mustard.
  2. Top them with the slices of cheese, ham, salami, the pickle slices and another slice of cheese. Cover and press down well.
  3. Spread the paninis on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in the center of the oven for 7-8 min. Remove the paninis from the oven, halve and serve immediately.
