HEMA sandwiches are now served with Beemster® cheese.

Beemster® and HEMA are launching a nationwide partnership. Starting April 1, all HEMA stores in the Netherlands that sell freshly made sandwiches will feature sandwiches topped with Beemster® cheese. 

Through this partnership, two Dutch brands are joining forces. HEMA, founded in 1926, is known for its affordable and practical products for everyday moments. Beemster® cheese is made by a local cooperative of dairy farmers who have been crafting cheeses with a distinctive flavor for generations, using milk from North Holland pastures. 

The addition of Beemster® cheese to HEMA’s sandwich selection responds to the growing demand for recognizable products with a clear origin. By choosing Beemster®, HEMA is adding a cheese that stands for taste, quality, and care for cows and farmers.

For Beemster®, this partnership means further expanding the number of occasions when consumers come into contact with the cheese. People can enjoy the cheese not only at home, but also on the go or during a quick break.
