Croissant toasted lobster roll with Beemster® Royale by Oh My Foodness

Ingredients

  • 2 croissants
  • 2 slices Beemster® Royaal
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 200 g crayfish or shrimp
  • 1 shallot, chopped
  • 1 tbsp chives
  • few drops of tabasco to taste
  • pinch of cayenne pepper
  • pinch of celery salt or regular salt
  • melted butter

Prepare

  1. Cut open the croissants and top with the slices of Beemster® Royaal.
  2. Mix the rest of the ingredients into a salad and divide among the croissants.
  3. Fold the croissants closed and spread with a little melted butter.
  4. Grill the croissant lobster roll under a contact grill or bake in the oven, until the cheese is melted.
