Pizza Bolognese with Beemster Extra Belegen

Ingredients

  • 1 large whole grain tortilla
  • 100 g minced beef
  • 1 small clove of garlic
  • ½ red bell bell pepper
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 50 g Beemster Extra Belegen

Prepare

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 °C. Place the whole wheat tortilla on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake first without topping in 5 min until golden brown and crispy.
  2. Meanwhile, heat a frying pan without oil or butter and fry the minced meat until loose and golden brown. Meanwhile, finely chop the garlic and chop the bell bell pepper as finely as possible. Add the garlic, bell bell pepper, tomato paste, onion powder and dried oregano and fry for another 1 min. over medium-high heat.
  3. Remove the tortilla from the oven and spread the meatloaf mixture on top. Grate the Beemster Extra Belegen over the pizza bolognese and bake in the oven for another 5 min until the cheese is melted.

Serving tip
Want this pizza for dinner? Serve it with a salad of arugula, tomatoes and balsamic vinegar. Big eater? Make a double portion. Then you're sure to be fine!
