Tosti Beemster Young Belegen and veal ragout
Lunch dish. 6 persons. Prepare 15 min.
Ingredients
- 3 slices Beemster Jong Belegen 48+
- 12 slices of white bread of your choice (e.g. white floor bread)
- 400 g veal ragout or croquette filling
- 12 tsp mayonnaise
- 3 tbsp coarse mustard
Prepare
- Halve the cheese slices and divide half between 6 slices of bread. Spread the veal ragout on top. Cover with the rest of the cheese and rest of the bread slices. Spread the tops each with 1 tsp of mayonnaise.
- Heat 2 skillets without oil or butter and fry 2-3 sandwiches per pan for 3 min on the mayonnaise side over medium-high heat. Meanwhile, spread the tops with the rest of the mayonnaise, flip over and fry another 3-4 min. Turn down the heat a bit if the bread is in danger of getting too brown. Repeat with the rest of the bread
- Serve with the mustard.
