Beemster® wins gold at annual DLG inspection 2018

Not one, not two, not three but four cheers for Beemster®! At the annual German DLG inspection, just like last year, many medals were won. Beemster® Oud, Beemster® X-O-, Beemster® Royaal and Beemster® Geitenkaas won the highest medal possible. An extra honorable mention for Beemster® Oud, winning gold for the eighth time in a row. Experts assess taste, consistency, smell, exterior and interior. In addition, a laboratory examines the composition of the cheese. Only cheeses that score high on all components are eligible for a DLG gold medal. This year's result is yet another confirmation of the perfect quality of Beemster® cheese.
