Beemster wins gold at annual DLG inspection 2018

Not one, not two, not three but four cheers for Beemster! At the annual German DLG inspection, just like last year, many medals were won. Beemster Old, Beemster X-O-, Beemster Royaal and Beemster Goat Cheese won the highest medal possible. An extra honorable mention for Beemster Oud, winning gold for the eighth time in a row. Experts assess taste, consistency, smell, exterior and interior. In addition, a laboratory examines the composition of the cheese. Only cheeses that score high on all components are eligible for a DLG gold medal. This year's result is yet another confirmation of the perfect quality of Beemster cheese.
