Gold for Beemster® at World Championship Cheese Contest!

From March 3 to 5, the World Championship Cheese Contest was held in Wisconsin. Beemster® 30+ Oud was awarded first place in its category here. In addition, our Beemster® 30+ Oud also finished in the overall top 20. This means that out of all 3667 entries, Beemster® 30+ Oud is among the 20 best in the world. Quite an achievement! The Beemster® Goat's Cheese also won a prize and walked away with the bronze medal in its class.

The competition is the oldest and the most prestigious in the world. The highly critical and professional cheese judges judge thousands of cheeses every two years, paying particular attention to appearance, taste, texture, rind and color.
