Together with Chris Vos in Snowworld

Last weekend, at the invitation of Beemster cheese, Chris Vos Foundation and De Hoogstraat Rehabilitation, 20 children with disabilities came to Snowworld Amsterdam for a Snowboard Clinic by Chris Vos.

Paralympic snowboarder Chris Vos knows better than anyone the challenges faced by children and young adults with physical disabilities. Through exercise or sports, you practice all kinds of movements playfully from a young age, which can help you later in everyday life. Through lots of exercise and sports, Chris is able to walk independently again and now even snowboard at top level! Because Chris wants to show children with physical disabilities what is possible, he - together with his parents - created the Chris Vos Foundation. The Chris Vos Foundation has set itself the goal of getting all people with a disability or physical challenge to exercise through sports and games. The Chris Vos Foundation is housed as a sports fund by Fonds Gehandicaptensport. Chris Vos, was born in the Beemster polder. Beemster cheese, the cheese made in that polder, has been Chris' proud sponsor for years.
