Puff pastry rolls with Beemster Old, olive & oregano

Drinks dish. 4 persons. Preparation 10 min + 17 min. oven time

Ingredients

  • 1 roll of fresh puff pastry
  • 75 g Beemster Old 48+
  • 10 g fresh oregano
  • 50 g black olive slices
  • ½ tsp sweet smoked paprika

Prepare

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 °C. Remove the puff pastry from the package and roll out the dough.
  2. Grate the cheese. Finely chop the oregano and olive slices. Spread the cheese, olives and ¾ of the oregano over the puff pastry but keep 3 cm from the edges. Sprinkle with the smoked paprika and press well.
  3. Roll up the puff pastry from the long side and cut into 20 slices. Place the slices on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake the cheese rolls in the center of the oven for 15-17 min until golden brown. Sprinkle with the rest of the oregano and serve.
