Going Green sandwich with Beemster Young Belegen
Lunch dish. 1 person. Prepare 10 min.
Ingredients
- 2 slices of sturdy dark brown bread
- 1 tbsp green pesto
- 2 slices Beemster Jong Belegen 48+
- 1 handful of arugula
- 75 g grilled vegetables* (bell bell pepper, zucchini, carrot)
Kitchen Stuff
- Sandwich grill or sandwich iron
Prepare
- Spread one slice of bread with the pesto and top with a slice of cheese, the arugula and grilled vegetables.
- Place the second slice of cheese and the second slice of bread on top, pressing lightly.
- In a sandwich grill, grill the sandwich for 4-5 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
Preparation tip
* Got time? Roast your own peppers! Put your oven as hot as possible, put the peppers in the oven for 25 minutes until blackened. Put them in a bowl, cover with plastic and let stand for 15 minutes. Peel off the skins and cut the flesh into strips!
