Classic hair salon with chicken shoarma and Beemster Young

Ingredients

  • 700 g oven fries
  • 400 g chicken shawarma
  • 250 g cherry tomatoes
  • 250 candy cucumbers
  • 4 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 1 tbsp sambal oelek
  • 4 slices Beemster Jong 48+
  • 100 g sliced iceberg lettuce
  • 100 ml garlic sauce

Prepare

  1. Preheat the oven to 220 °C.
  2. Spread the fries on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake according to the package directions in the center of the oven until crispy. Bake a little longer if necessary to get them extra crispy.
  3. Heat a non-stick frying pan without oil or butter and fry the chicken over medium-high heat for about 8 min until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Meanwhile, halve the cherry tomatoes and slice the cucumbers. Mix the ketchup with the sambal.
  5. Take the fries out of the oven. Spread the chicken first and then the cheese slices on top. Bake another 3 min in the oven until the cheese is melted.
  6. Divide the lettuce, tomatoes and cucumber among the baking sheet. Drizzle with the sauces. Serve immediately.

Preparation tip
Can also be prepared with Beemster Young Belegen.

Serving tip
Prepare plates on the table and put the kapsalon on the griddle in the middle of the table so everyone can take what they want. Add the sauce in the traditional spray bottles and the plate will be empty in no time.
