Balls of Beemster Goat Cheese

Ingredients

  • 230 g Beemster Goat cheese
  • 60 g pecans
  • 110 g cream cheese
  • Grated lemon peel
  • 65 g crispy bacon
  • Fresh basil, parsley and chives
  • Pretzel sticks

Prepare

  1. Grate the Beemster goat cheese. Finely chop the pecans in a food processor or with a chef's knife.
  2. Add the cream cheese, grated lemon zest and Beemster Goat Cheese and mix well. Divide into a bowl, add the crispy bacon bits and mix well again. Then put it in the refrigerator for 30 min.
  3. Meanwhile, chop the fresh green herbs. After 30 minutes, remove the goat cheese mixture from the refrigerator and make balls of +- 25g. Then roll them through the herbs and serve together with the pretzel sticks.
