Tosti bolognese with Beemster Belegen

Lunch dish. 4 persons. Preparation 25 min.

Ingredients

  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 300 g minced beef
  • 70 g tomato paste
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 3 tsp dried oregano
  • 450 g macaroni and spaghetti vegetables
  • 1 Turkish bake-off bread
  • 125 g Beemster Belegen 48+

Prepare

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
  2. Chop the garlic finely. Heat a frying pan without oil or butter and fry the minced meat until loose. Add the garlic, tomato paste, onion powder, 2 tsp oregano and the macaroni and spaghetti vegetables and stir-fry for another 5 min over medium-high heat. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  3. Meanwhile, cut the bread in half lengthwise and grate the cheese.
  4. Place the bottom of the bread on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Spread the minced-vegetable mixture and 100 g cheese on top. Cover with the top of the bread and press gently. Sprinkle with the rest of the cheese and the rest of the oregano. Bake for 15 min in the center of the oven. Serve immediately. Delicious with a salad of butter lettuce, cucumber and chopped red onion.
