The Beemster Extra Oud, the Beemster Royaal and the Beemster 30+ Oud were recently awarded 3-star Superior Taste Awards, a top award from the leading International Taste and Quality Institute.
Great taste, good texture and subtle aroma, all with an outstanding score.

The International Taste & Quality Institute - iTQi - based in Brussels, is the leading organization dedicated to testing and promoting superior foods and beverages. To assess food and beverages, iTQi works closely with renowned Chefs, Sommeliers and beverage experts selected in collaboration with Europe's most famous culinary institutions and sommelier organizations such as Maîtres Cuisiniers de France, Academy of Culinary Arts, Hellenic Chefs' Association and Académie Culinaire de France. The products are tested completely blind, unpackaged and without any form of identification.

Beemster cheeses are made by the cheese masters according to traditional recipes and made from the best milk. Quality comes first. A healthy cow, which can graze outside a lot, produces the best milk and with that we, as a North Holland cooperative, make the most delicious cheeses, all with their own distinct flavor. We are proud of the result.
