Healthy and tasty
The goats that provide the milk for this special cheese come from seven goat farms in North Holland. There, they are fed local grass silage mixed with flaxseed. "That's good for omega 3 fatty acids and makes for softer milk," says cheese master Henk Mul of Beemster® cheese. "That makes our Beemster® Goat Cheese not only extra healthy, but also surprisingly creamy and delicious. Our Beemster® Goat's Cheese is made from vegetable rennet, making it a vegetarian cheese.
